A little bar chat

Andithiel Spellblaze laughed with a few of his friends from his newly formed House. After the previous nights events he just wanted to relax with some friends at a local bar in Silvermoon. Sure he could drink at House Spellblaze, but he wanted to be out and about. He did not want to feel confined to the walls of that House. He smiled to himself as he replayed some of the scenes in his mind. He did relish in the fact that he as well as his sister Tyavel humiliated Kyliska Sunfire. She had it coming, for a long while. She had humiliated him when she threw her affair in his face, and this was just a little bit of payback for that. Now she might know some of the heartache he had felt at that time. True it was a different type of heartache but she still would not be pleased and he saw it on her face. Andi knew that she had wanted to retaliate right then and there but knew that she couldn't. She would have ruined her good name and standing within Silvermoon if she did anything but leave House Spellblaze. Should he have talked to her privately about disbanding from House Sunfire and creating House Spellblaze? Yes he probably should have, but where would the fun have been in that?

Andithiel took a swig of beer and laughed again. He knew the secret that Kyli did not want anyone else to know. He had used that against her and it felt so good. So good to have something over her. Make her pay for her sins once and for all. Now was the time to move on finally from Kyliska and her diseased House. Especially with knowing the truth about Biara. She was a poison and he wanted nothing to do with either of them. Kyliska could have her new lover and her own House and leave Andi and his sisters alone.

"Oh I do hope I'm not interrupting!" a loud female voice boomed. "I heard what sounded like a party and I thought I must see what all this fuss is about!" Andithiel sighed as he realized who that voice belonged to. None other than Kyliska herself. It was as if she knew he would be there, in that bar, on this night. He knew it was planned and he braced himself for what was to come. He ever so slowly turned around and saw that she was with some of her men. She was wearing a low cut leather top that was not leaving much to the imagination, and very tight leather pants that showed off her figure quite nicely. He shook his head trying to not let the image of her cloud his judgement. Yes she was beautiful but he forced the images of her in bed with another man and then his temper started to boil.

Andithiel sneered at Kyliska as he spoke. "Oh Kyliska, how nice of you to join us! I'm sorry your invitation must have been lost in the mail, you know due to the change in authority in our Houses and whatnot." He knew he hit a nerve because her eyes narrowed slightly but she kept a fake smile on her face as she made her way closer to where he was sitting. Before she got close enough she went to the barkeep. She threw a bag down on the bar that he knew must have had a huge sum of money in it and she winked at the barkeep.

"Please Lady Sunfire, we do not want any trouble!" the barkeep pleaded.

"Oh kind sir, there will be no trouble. But I would like it if you could go in the back and see if you have that really nice wine that I love! I would really appreciate it!" She smiled sweetly at him as she pushed the bag closer to him. He took the bag and made his way to the back room knowing that he did not want to be around for whatever might happen.

Kyliska then turned around and sat in the chair right next to Andithiel. He rolled his eyes as she sat closer than she needed to. Her knees were just about touching his and she leaned over so he could clearly see down her shirt. He knew she was playing him, and he did not want to give her the satisfaction of seeing that she actually was having an effect on him. He still did have feelings for her despite everything that had happened between them. He tried to force those feelings down as he looked at her face and not her cleavage. "Kyliska, what is it that you want? Can't you just let me and my men have a good time?"

Kyliska smiled a little more sweetly at him than before. "Oh Andi, I don't mean to ruin your good time. I just wanted to partake in it myself! You do know how I like to have a good time....don't you remember?" she almost purred at him.

Andi took a deep breath. "Oh yes I do remember that, very clearly. When I found you in bed with Tiandril, you did seem to be having a very good time!"

Kyliska's smile faltered slightly but then she spit back, "Oh so are we even now Andi? Now that you and your sisters have decided to break our pact and humiliate me in front of almost all of Silvermoon? I told you about my sister in confidence and you betrayed that confidence."

Now it was Andithiel's turn to smile. "Oh I did not realize that was a secret Kyli. I cant' keep track of  all the secrets of House Sunfire. Just another reason why we chose to form our own House. We don't want to be involved with you and yours. Especially since you promote your lover from Spymaster to Master at Arms just because you are sleeping with him!"

Kyliska gasped at that. "Braeth'el is more than capable of doing the job, I sure as fel did not promote him just because he is my lover. But please Andithiel go on, your jealousy is showing." She had to have known the sway she had over Andi, she seemed to have leaned forward even more so even if he tried not to look he would see down her shirt. It took all of his will power to keep his eyes focused on her eyes. "You know I'm sorry about that night right, the night that you found me with another. I never wanted to hurt you Andi....not like that...."

Andithiel's eyes softened. He knew that she had apologized for what had happened before but there was something in her voice when she said it again. She inched her face closer to his. This wasn't right, he knew he should not be feeling what he was feeling and doing what he had wanted to do for so long. It was as if she read his mind and she closed the distance between them and their mouths met in a passionate kiss. At first he was slightly shocked but then he returned the kiss. All of the men around them, House Spellblaze and House Sunfire alike stared with their mouths opened. They knew that leaders of their Houses were not enemies but were also not this close and they did not know how to respond to this. Andithiel sighed as he went to wrap his arms around Kyliska's waist when suddenly he felt something crash into his head and he backed away from Kyliska. She smiled at him as she held the broken beer bottle in her hand. He then realized that the bitch had kissed him to distract him and then hit him over the head with his own beer bottle! He put his hand to his head and felt the blood and then something in him snapped. He lunged at Kyliska and she gasped as he tackled her to the floor.

Suddenly a full out bar fight ensued as House Spellblaze and House Sunfire men threw punches at one another. Andithiel was seeing red as he and Kyli tackled each other on the floor. She had started this fight and he would end it. Normally he did not like to hit women but she had started this and he knew that she could handle herself. It was as if there was no one else in the room. He could hear the fighting of their men but he only focused on Kyliska, his anger both at himself for letting her fool him and for what she had just done boiling over. They were pretty evenly matched, even though she was much smaller than him, she was a well trained fighter, even if she did like to play dirty.

Kyliska smirked at Andithiel as she got an upper hand and was on top of him. She kneed him in the groin and then got up and took a long drink from a wine bottle that miraculously had not broken during the fight. Andithiel groaned in pain but reacted quickly and swung his legs under Kyli's and she fell to the floor hitting her head on a chair on the way down, as well as spilling the wine all over herself. She growled as she tried to get up but now it was Andi who had the upper hand and was on top of her. He pinned her arms down to the floor and head butted her. She tried to fight back but the pain in her nose made her pause slightly. 'You bastard!" she shouted at him. "Let me up!"

Andithiel laughed, "You started this you bitch, I shall end it. You try to play ME as the fool and think you can get away with it?" Kyliska then sighed and decided to give him some of his own medicine and returned the headbutt and sent Andi reeling backwards from the pain to his own nose. "Oh you loved that kiss do not try to deny it. Besides you started this by betraying our House. I'm glad that you decided to leave now though, clearly I cannot trust you!"

Andithiel wiped the blood from his nose and stood up facing her. "You cannot trust me? Are you serious??? You and your sister, or whoever the fel she is always kept secrets from me and my sisters. Were you EVER honest with us about ANYTHING!!!!" He lunged at her again and before they both fell to the floor they heard a loud booming voice that made them both as well as the rest of the bar patrons stop mid-fight. They turned to look to see who it was trying to break up the fight. As Kyli was laying on the ground she groaned, it was most definitely someone who wanted to break up this fight.

Morgaath Bloodmoon and a few of his orc friends were standing in the doorway of the bar. "What is going on here? You are fighting like humans fighting over a piece of bread. Do you know how ridiculous you all look!" his voice boomed and everyone stopped what they were doing. All the blood elves were bloody and bruised and some even held their head down in shame at the commanding orc that was screaming at them. Morgaath slowly made his way towards Kyliska. "And YOU, Lady Sunfire, this is not how a "Lady" of a House should be acting!" Kyliska tried to interrupt him but he held a hand up and continued. "I know what you are going to say, I know what Andithiel and his sisters did to your House, but this is NOT the way to handle it. You are not thinking straight and this must end NOW."

Kyliska pushed Andi off of her and stood up to face Morgaath. "I was not going to let that stand, what he did Morg. I'm sorry I went about it the wrong way but something HAD to be done."

Morgaath sighed. "You always resort to fighting, I like to fight as much as the next orc but you need to take a step back. Even though you are upset with the Spellblazes you cannot just go physically assaulting them!" he paused. "It is time we go back to Sunfire Estate, things must change. Me and my commanding officers are going to take control of this situation for the time being, until I can trust you to be a fit leader for House Sunfire that is."

Kyliska huffed, "You cannot do that, I am the Lady Sunfire! I will NOT let this...." as she was speaking Morgaath grabbed her by the arm roughly and said darkly, "We are leaving whether you like it or not Kyli." The last thing that Kyliska saw as she was being dragged out of the bar was Andithiel smiling as her in satisfaction knowing that she would not be having a good time. She did not like being told what to do.  He even started to laugh as she cursed him out. Well that did not go as she planned but it could have gone a lot worse I suppose, he thought to himself.

Betrayal

Kyliska was livid. She stormed about the training yard at Sunfire Estate. Not a soul was brave enough to get within any distance of her. She would switch from screaming obscenities to beating up one of the training dummies, to taking a few gulps from the wine bottles she had brought outside with her. She had not been having a good few weeks, and this just was the icing on the cake. That her supposed allies and friends decided to surprise her with leaving her House, and forming a new one. Embarassing her in front of so many other nobles, it was such a betrayal and just wrong.

Kyliska spit on the ground in disgust. She replayed the scene over and over in her mind. She thought she handled herself graciously enough, there was not more that she could have done in front of so many witnesses. She had to hold her composure, even though she was burning up inside and just wanted to beat the living shit out of Tyavel Spellblaze. Kyli knew that she along with her brother were most likely the masterminds behind the whole plan, but then Selenthiel did not say a word. She might have also had a crucial role to play, Kyli was too mad to even try to speak to her about it. She thought she was her friend, her close friend. True Kyli herself kept secrets from Sel, but she thought she might have at least given her some notice as to what was going to happen. Or tried to stop it even!

Kyliska collapsed on the ground and took a deep drink from another wine bottle and then she felt a presence at her side. She looked lazily to see Braeth'el sitting beside her. "Brae, how could I have been so stupid? I should have seen this coming..." she started.

Braeth'el put a reassuring arm around her shoulders and held her close to him. "Kyli, there was no way that you could have known that the Spellblazes were going to leave like that, how could you?"

Kyliska looked down and her cheeks turned red. "Well I forgot to mention that I told Andithiel about Biara....."

Braeth'el's expression turned into a frown and he pulled away slightly from Kyliska. "You did what?"

"Before you go scolding me like some child, of course I know that was a bad decision. At the time I thought I could trust him. He was apart of our House and also it kinda just spilled out." she said. "It was when we were going to rescue Morgaath. It had just happened and I was not in my right state of mind. I was foolish to think I could trust Andi, I thought there was some part of the Andi that I had fallen in love with, the part I knew I could trust. Apparently he used my moment of weakness against me."

Tears began to fall down Kyliska's face. Her anger turned to sadness. Braeth'el's face softened. "Oh Kyli. I know what Biara did to you, to us, to everyone was a shock. I know you have not been yourself because of it. I don't blame you for trusting Andi with that secret, even though I do not agree with what you did, I understand it. He is a fool, and good riddance to him and his family if they would abandon our pact over this. It was not like we knew what Biara had done, what secrets she was keeping from us. We were not colluding with her for Light's sake!"

Kyliska hugged Braeth'el tightly. "I know my love. The Spellblaze's took my moment of grief and turned it against me. Instead of us all coming together as one united front, they decided to throw it in my face, in front of so many people. I was made to look the fool all the while Tyavel and Andi were laughing at my stupidity. It's not right. And to make it worse, Sel just stood there and said nothing. Not only did I lose Biara, but I also lost Sel."

Braeth'el squeezed Kyliska even tighter and stroked her hair to soothe her. "They should have spoken to you in private instead of humiliating you publicly, I agree about that. But maybe this is a good thing. We can stay in the Estate and try to distance ourselves from Silvermoon for a while, hmm? Let you rest and heal."

Kyliska stood up suddenly. "And let them win? I don't think so! I need to find a way to retaliate! Tyavel thinks I'm not fit to be a leader well I must find a way to prove her wrong! No one humiliates Kyliska Sunblade and gets away with it! Biara already did that and I still have to make her pay for her sins. Don't think I forgot about that, I want her dead for what she did to me. Tyavel, I obviously do not want dead but I want her to feel as I felt this night."

Braeth'el stood slowly and eyed Kyliska cautiously. "Kyli, do you think that is wise? Maybe we should just let the dust settle a bit. Just relax and take some time to think things through..."

"Brae, if I were you I would either help me or stay out of my way. Maybe I will call on Melsana and see if she has any suggestions on how to help. She has been a great friend as of late. She is refreshing to be around. She tells me like it is, she never beats around the bush. I like that brutal honesty. Sometimes that is exactly what I need." she paused. "I know you are just trying to help my love, but I need to do something. I feel like all I have been doing is sitting idly by and letting things just happen to me. I let Biara deceive me for my entire life, I let the Spellblaze's betray me. I cannot just stand by any longer. I will not drink myself into a stupor, I will take action!"

With that Kyliska gave Braeth'el a quick but passionate kiss and ran inside the Estate to find Melsana. Braeth'el was left standing there with his mouth open. He did not think this was a good idea, but if it kept Kyliska's mind busy maybe it was for the best that he did not interfere. He would watch from a distance to make sure she didn't make a terrible mistake of course, but he was curious to see where her plan might take her.
