Kyliska yawned sleepily as she stretched in her bed. She had slept in
this morning due to the long battles she had endured last night. Kyliska
smiled as she thought of all the glorious fighting that was done by her
and her allies. She always liked to fight the Alliance, but this time
the Horde had more numbers! Usually the Alliance greatly outnumber them
and they are eventually driven out of the area. This time, the Horde
took over Southshore! Horde banners were flapping in the wind all over
the little town.
To think it all started with a small negotiation. Kyliska had thought
that Biara was mad when she said that the gnome Jazari had wanted to
talk to her alone just outside Tarren Mill. Of course Kyliska would not
let her friend go alone, so Varimarris and herself decided to accompany
Biara, but stay in hiding just in case this was an ambush from the Guild
Watch. Kyliska didn’t trust that gnome or any of them as far as she
could throw them!
The talk seemed to be going alright at first. Then Syrea showed up and
she knew that Kyliska and Varimarris were there as well, so they came
out of hiding to join Biara. There was a lot of fighting and yelling
going on between the two Guild Watch members. Strange words were being
thrown around that Kyliska had no idea what was being said. Kyliska
sighed. She grew bored of all the talking. She wanted some action and
could barely contain herself. She had to try her hardest not to just
attack Jazari. He was only a few feet away from her, but she had
promised Biara that she would not attack unless they attacked first.
Biara had found out that Jazari knew where the book that she wanted was.
It was indeed still in Southshore! Kyliska and Biara had gone there
months ago trying to retrieve this book, but they had been thrown out of
Southshore by the Guild Watch. Now Jazari and Syrea were here, saying
they could just have the book? Syrea had even said that she would get it
for them. Kyliska did not believe that they would just let Biara just
have the book. Biara had become too trusting at this moment in time in
Kyliska’s mind. She should have just killed them when she had the
chance.
Biara was done waiting and decided that they would just go and get the
book themselves. Kyliska was happy that she had decided this, since she
knew there would be an ambush waiting for them in the small town.
Kyliska smiled slyly as she anticipated the fight that was about to
happen. As they were about to move to the town she could hear the sound
of a motorcycle coming towards them. She looked up to see her good
friend Hauk Fenshire ride up to them. Kyliska ran over to him and gave
him a hug while jumping into the sidecar. Two more Blood Knights, Xsara
and her consort came along for the fight as well.
They rode to Southshore killing some guards along the way for fun.
Kyliska laughed as she reveled in the fight. Her blood lust was starting
to surface, this would be a good fight indeed. They headed to the Inn,
the book was on the second floor. They managed to kill everyone in the
Inn and went to the second floor and searched for the book. Kyliska had a
feeling that they had lied to them when they couldn’t find the book at
first. Then suddenly she turned around and saw Biara holding the book
with a look of pure satisfaction on her face. Kyliska hugged her friend
and they laughed together, the book finally was in their possession!
At that moment, a commotion was heard downstairs. Hauk went to the
stairwell to see what the problem was. The Guild Watch had showed up.
Maybe it wasn’t an ambush, they had just come when the alarms were
sounded that the town was being attacked. It didn’t really matter to
Kyliska, she just knew that they must fight them. And fight they did! It
was a great battle for both sides. The Guild Watch showed up with a
great force trying to repel them from the town. Biara’s friend and
healer Xsara was wonderful and did not let one of them die. There were
explosions of magic, and fire all around them. The sound of blades being
clanged together could be heard. Arrows were shooting through the air.
Kyliska wasn’t sure what had happened next. She remembered that suddenly
they had more attackers with them. Biara had summoned them somehow and
they showed up in great force. The Guild Watch was seething seeing the
sheer amount of enemies that outnumbered them for once. They were so
used to being the ones outnumbering the Horde that they did not like
this imbalance. They decided to take the fighting outside of the Inn,
and out in the middle of the town. The Alliance put up a decent fight
but were eventually pushed out of their own town. Kyliska and her
friends all cheered and stayed in the town for quite some time.
Silvermoon Banners were everywhere as were other Horde city banners.
Kyliska thought back to a point in the middle of the battle. Hauk, Noxu
and a few others suggested they leave the town. They didn’t want the
Horde to sink down to the level of the Alliance and grief their town
like they do to the Horde’s towns. Kyliska’s blood lust was very high at
this moment and in a fit of rage she had called Hauk an Alliance
sympathizer. She didn’t mean it, she didn’t even know why the words had
escaped her mouth. There was a standstill in the fighting and Kyliska
talked to Hauk, apologizing for her harsh words. He had forgiven her but
it was still nagging at Kyliska. She was not used to feeling this way,
she usually did not regret things. She never regretted killing Alliance,
as she did not view them as innocent in any way. But to say something
to a dear friend in the heat of battle that she did not mean grated at
her.
Kyliska got out of bed and dressed. There was so much more fighting that
was done last night, but she had to go clear her head right now. It was
still a little foggy after all the drinking that her, Hauk, and even
Resiyn had been doing last night. Drinking did assuage her guilt a
little over her words to Hauk, but now she just felt sick. A little sun
always made Kyliska feel better. She decided she would sunbathe until
she felt more relaxed and then maybe she would go find Biara to see what
trouble they could get into this evening. Also she was very curious to
see how Biara’s progress with the book was going. She had mentioned that
Jazari had put some kind of spell on it. Kyliska hummed to herself as
she set out on her day.
