Kyliska was trying
to collect her thoughts. She had not heard from Andi in a while, he had
wanted to meet but something came up and they were not able to. Kyli
could feel herself becoming more distant from him. Ever since they both
found out the other was alive they had not really seen each other. It
broke her heart to not see him, but maybe it was for the best. He had
something to tell her, and she knew he wanted to fight for the Alliance
now. Maybe they would see each other on the battlefield. It pained her
to even think about that.
Kyli walked down by the docks in Silvermoon. Sometimes she liked to walk by the water because it calmed her. To hear the waves come crashing upon the shore, the smell of the sea air, just everything about it relaxed her. As she approached the dock, her breath caught in her throat. Kyli turned pale and felt suddenly sick to her stomach. She saw a ship in the harbor. A ship that she had not seen in many years. With tears in her eyes she saw the flag on the ship. It was the Sunblade flag but different. This was one of her father's ships, The Golden Blade. But there were none left. Not since the scourge attacks. Kyli looked as if she had seen a ghost. She could not beleive her eyes.
Suddenly the Dayfire Dock Captain came running towards Kyli. She turned around slowly still in shock at seeing her father's ship in the harbor.
"Lady Sunblade! Lady Sunblade!" he exclaimed.
"Yes, what is the matter?" Kyliska stated.
"Someone is here to see you." he started. "She claims to be your cousin, Celessarae Sunblade. She seems rather interested in speaking with you. I told her I would come find you right away!"
Kyliska drew in a breath. Cele, could this be? Kyli thought that she was dead. She had not heard from her since the Scourge attacks. Could it be that she took her father's ship and that is why it has the Sunblade banner flying from it? Her cousin is alive? Her only true blood relative is alive? Kyli felt as if she had seen a ghost. Her head started to hurt as she fully comprehended this information.
"Where is she now?"
"She is in some tavern in Silvermoon I believe. I think she almost started a bar fight the other day!"
Kyliska laughed. That was Cele alright. "I will see to her, thank you for delivering her message."
The Dock Captain nodded and walked away. Kyliska slowly made her way towards Silvermoon City again. She had to meet with her dear cousin. They had a lot to talk about. Like where has she been all this time? Why did she steal her father's ship? Why had she not tried to contact Kyli in all this time? Kyli sighed and then a slow smile started to form on her lips. She did miss her cousin. They had some fun times together. Afterall it was Cele that got Kyli into drinking all those years ago. Yes she would go find her cousin in the bar that she was hanging out in. Maybe they could re-live some of those times again....
