Changes

"When will I ever start to feel normal again?" Kyliska said out loud to no one in particular. She looked around the room with all the training dummys in it and sighed. Her life would never be the same again. She was not the same elf she was before her baby was ripped from her. Andi was no where to be found, her sister was missing still, and could possibly be dead for all she knew. She just felt like there was nothing to live for anymore.

Kyli unsheathed her sword, let out a yell, and ran at one of the dummys. She swung her sword and fought with her unmoveable foe. She stepped away and dropped her sword on the ground. It just wasn't the same. She could remember when she used to fight against the Alliance on an almost daily basis. She felt so alive then! She let out all of her aggressions against her enemies, shed all the blood she wanted and it felt GOOD! Now, she just didn't feel right fighting them without her love and her sister. Not that Andi was a fighter much, but Biara was always at her side during battle.

Kyli felt defeated. She didn't like to feel this way, it wasn't like her. Andi probably wouldn't even recognize me anymore, the way I have changed. It is probably one reason why he went away and left her. She didn't even see him after she lost the baby. She didn't even know what he was thinking or feeling, he just disappeared. Yes Kyli was unconscious for quite some time and needed healing and people to take care of her, but she wondered why Andi left. Why didn't he stay and help? Why wasn't he there when she woke up? His sister Lune didn't even know where he was.

Kyli had heard some rumors of this tournament in the Gurubashi Arena. It seemed to not be very well advertised, but it sounded like just the thing that she needed to do. When she had found out she was pregnant Biara and Andi had forbade her from fighting anymore. She used to love to fight in the Arena, and then that was taken from her. Now she could fight in it again, and she didn't even care if she lived or died. She just wanted to FEEL something again. Something that used to live inside of her, that fire that used to drive her. She needed to feel that again. If her lover and her sister were not around to stop her, then she would do this for herself. If she couldn't have them in her life anymore, there was nothing to live for. She would do this for her baby that was taken from her before it ever had the chance to live, to become something in this world.

Kyli nodded as she came to terms with what she was going to do. She was going to sign up for this tournament. No one was going to stop her. The only thing she knew she needed to do was train more. Train harder than she had ever trained before. She wasn't going to go down without a fight. She let herself be overcome with her enemies that stole her baby and she was not going to let that happen again. Kyli hated to feel helpless, and if that was ever to happen again, they better kill her this time. Suddenly Kyli started to feel some of the blood rage that had gone missing. All her hatred, and aggression, and sadness was going to fuel her. With a look of determination, Kyli began to train. Her yells could be heard for miles.
