Heartache

Kyliska stood in the sidelines at the Arena. She watched on with an intent look in her eyes. She was almost entranced by the fighting. She was not happy with sitting on the sidelines and not being able to partake in the games. Andi had basically forbid it. Subconsciously Kyli's hand fell to her stomach and she looked down. How could she even be pregnant? She wasn't showing, maybe she was wrong. Maybe she should see the House healers again for confirmation. She could even seek out Lune, she knew she was a very gifted healer and she would be honest with her.

Kyliska shook her head, this was not fair. Was this fate's way of laughing at her for some reason? What had she done to deserve this? Yes she loved Andi with all her heart, but she did not want to be a mother, not yet anyway. A single tear fell from Kyli's eye. Her heart started to pound as she heard the cheers from the crowd. She watched with envy that they were able to fight, and she was not.

Kyli stormed off and she found herself back in Silvermoon near the training dummys. She took out her sword and started to fight the dummys being that they could not fight back and not hurt her. Surely this would at least be ok in the eyes of Andi and her sister. In a matter of minutes Kyli was sweating profusely but she didn't stop. She kept swinging her sword at the dummy, taking out all her agression and anger and sadness on this poor innocent thing. Kyli started to cry, and didn't even realize it. The tears were streaming down her face and she still didn't stop. It felt so good to be hitting something even if it was not hitting her back, or trying to.

Almost as suddenly as she started to spar she suddenly fell down. Her heart was pounding and she was out of breath. Her sword fell from her hands and clattered to the ground. The tears still fell from her eyes and she tried to catch her breath as she sat on the ground. She looked down at her leg and noticed that there was blood pooling there. She had cut herself without even realizing it. It didn't even hurt. If anything, seeing the blood started to calm her down some. Kyliska layed down on the ground and stared up at the beautiful sky. Her thoughts turned to Andi, and she could almost see his face as her eyes closed. The last thing she heard before she lost consciousness was the faint sound of wind chimes in the distance.
